Do you handle the council connection?
Yes. We can dig and connect into council stormwater pits and laterals, working to the council's requirements for the discharge. If a council inspection is required, we coordinate the timing.
What's the difference between stormwater, agi, and surface drainage?
Stormwater is pipework moving water from downpipes and pits to a discharge point. Agi (sub-soil) is slotted pipe in scoria, picking up ground water. Surface drainage (strip drains, channel drains) catches water from drives and slabs. Most jobs use a combination.
Do you install drainage behind retaining walls?
Yes. Agi pipe, scoria backfill and weep holes are installed correctly behind every retaining wall we build. We can also retrofit drainage behind existing walls if water issues are showing.
Can you fix existing drainage that's failing?
Often yes. Common failures are blocked agi, undersized stormwater, or no fall. We dig, inspect, identify the problem, and quote the fix. Sometimes a partial replacement is enough.
Do you compact the trench backfill?
Yes. Backfill is layered and compacted to spec so the trench doesn't subside under driveways, paths or lawns over the next year.
How fast can you start?
Most residential drainage jobs are quoted within 24 to 48 hours and booked within one to two weeks. Urgent water-ingress jobs get priority where possible.
